What’s the difference ?

Sorbet

Invented somewhere around 3000 B.C., Sorbet or Sorbetto is the oldest of the frozen sweet treats and it’s 100% dairy free and Vegan. Typically sorbet has the lowest fat content compared to ice cream and gelato. Just like gelato, sorbetto also contains less air than ice cream to give it an indulgently dense texture.

Gelato

Gelato or Gelati was created in 16th century Europe. Compared to ice cream, each batch of Gelato is blended with more milk and a bit more sugar, and way less cream & air, the ingredients and process creates a dense and rich texture. Its served at slightly warmer temperature than ice cream too, roughly 15-18º for the perfectly scoop-able bite.

With less fat and slightly more sugar than ice cream, you could almost say its healthier.
